GATE-2018

GATE 2018 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national level entrance exam for admission to PG courses in the field of engineering and technology. Every year, GATE is organized by the seven zonal IITs and an IISc on rotational basis. This year, GATE exam is conducted by IIT, Guwahati Assam. Apart from granting admission, the score of gate exam is also considered as one of the criteria for recruitment to government and private organizations working in technical fields.

GATE examination is conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and 7 other IITs. GATE scores are also accepted for admission in universities in Singapore and Germany. While filling the application form candidates provide three choices for centres and they are allocated the centre accordingly. GATE examination is conducted online and consists of both Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) and questions which have numerical answers which are to be keyed in by candidates. http://gate.iitg.ac.in/
